Check out Free Moral Agents, a new band from long Beach, CA. They feature Ikey Owens of Mars Volta and rev up a groove that's a danceable Bjork-like rocking storm. Strong guitar, bass and percussion hold more than their own and give the lead singer room to squeal. At a recent Bottom of the Hill show, a sloppy but intriguing hard noise set by SBach and a commendable acoustic guitar/drum duo outing by Kevin Seconds opened.
