Josef Aukee has been writing and performing in the Bay Area for more than a decade and is the author of the poetry collection Hill People. Several years ago, Aukee began adding musical elements creating a hybrid performance style that mixes theatrical readings using multiple voices with ambient, industrial and/or jazz instrumentals and vocals. Aukee's debut CD, Industrial Strength, features live performances with keyboardist/programmer/percussionist Giles Reaves.
